Lists

March 14th, 2007  View Comments

I make lists. Lots of them. And not just for the holidays – “making a list and checking them twice” – I do it every day.

Long-term goals
Short-term goals
Daily deliverables
Big projects
Simple to-dos
Work projects
Personal projects and to-dos
This week
This weekend
This month
Today
This year
On paper
On paper, in my wallet
On paper, folded in my pocket
On post-it-notes
On my work notebook
On my work Outlook calendar
On my printed Outlook calendar
On printed presentations
On my mobile phone calendar
On my online calendar
On drafts & emails in my personal email
Unread messages in work Outlook email
Starred items in my personal email

All these lists, overlapping lists of things to do and accomplish. Is this too many lists? Or are there just too many interesting things to do?
