Perspective, Statue of Liberty, Ney York City
Perspective, Statue of Liberty, New York City

Vaguely reminds me of the Taj Mahal in India. Our perspective of great monuments changes once we see them in person. The process of converting what we’ve seen through an intermediary (e.g. books, music, media) into experiences viewed with our own eyes and ears has a way of reminding us of the value of perspective.

But get too close, and we lose it again. Finding that middle ground between too much and not enough is one of the hardest things to manage in life.

I agree, finding the balance between too much and not enough is not easy.

Cool picture by the way. Haven't seen the Statue of Liberty that close before. We only saw it from the Staten Island ferry.

Resurfacing an old conversation: I'm finding the path isn't about balancing two conflicting things, but integrating the two to make one. Stronger, better, building on each other.
