Random aside: if oil prices go down will “going green” become less popular?
Will companies still care? Will “going green” still be considered a forward-thinking profit-driven motive?
What oil price will make U.S. consumers change their behavior enduringly, versus simply adjust temporarily and then return to status quo?” (link)
Speed or slowth are not lifestyle choices. Our ways of life will not become sustainable just because we decide, as individuals, to “slow down”. Slowth will, to some extent, be imposed by events: escalating energy costs will drive re-localisation more powerfully than attitudinal change. (link)
