As part of the Twitter Revolution panel at PDN PhotoPlus Expo in NYC on Oct 22, I’ll be sharing my thoughts about how to use Twitter to market your photography (hint: it’s more about you than your images).
As I’ve mentioned before, October 22 at PDN PhotoPlus Expo in NYC, Seshu Badrinath, Jim Goldstein, Jack Hollingsworth, Rosh Sillars and I will discuss the “Twitter Revolution: Changing the Photographic World, 140 Characters at a Time”.
We are all covering different parts about Twitter; in my small role, I’ll be covering how to use Twitter to market and monetize your photography. Below is a draft of the presentation, consisting of 15 discussion points aimed at the serious photographer curious about or currently exploring Twitter. I tweeted these points earlier today to start the conversation, and I would love to hear your thoughts, examples and case studies.
The best examples and case studies will be included in the final presentation for PDN PhotoPlus; just send me a tweet to @tdavidson using the hashtag #PPEtogs with your thoughts on examples, case studies, points I missed, points I nailed, etc., and the best points will be included in the final presentation for PDN PhotoPlus. You’ll get full credit for your tweets. Done.
I’m also open to changing the presentation based on the feedback from the knowledge of the many photographers and marketers using Twitter. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Coming to PDN PhotoPlus?
On Oct 22nd in NYC, we’ll be hosting a Photographers Tweet-up (click here to sign-up for the event), an event that will give you the chance to meet photographers using and interested in using Twitter, an learning and social opportunity of its own.
